WHEN TO VISIT PORT BLAIR
The tourist season falls between November and mid-May and the peak season is between December- March. Monsoon season is between June and September. One should always expect light rains even during other seasons since its a tropical island.

1. Port Blair has the only commercial airport in the islands, which also doubles as a defense airport, hence photography is strictly prohibited.

4. You can easily reach Diglipur, Baratang, Rangat, & Mayabunder via road.
5. The island is also connected by ferry to all other tourist destinations in Andaman.
6. The Internet is slow here, like the rest of the islands, but there are a lot of internet cafes and wi-fi spots where you can find decent connectivity.
7. Port Blair has 3 beaches in total, which are: Carbyn’s Cove Beach, Wandoor Beach, and Mundapahar Beach- near Chidiyatapu.
